This tutorial starts to detail how to create a newsletter form where you submit an email address. iRise allows you to create actual working functionality by using drag and drop programming pieces. The use of clipboards allow you to temporarily stores data for use in later parts of your simulation.
This uses iRise to create a registration form in a functional mockup. Skills used in this tutorial are using forms, formatting tables, saving datasheet records, using clipboards, and page logic.
Full Tutorial Includes:
- A registration form example that you can use or alter for any project.
- High quality 720 x 480 Video (Quicktime)
- Starting and ending iDoc files
- All related assets (Pictures, CSS, Data etc. if applicable)
In this tutorial we create a login widget master to allow the addition of this functionality to multiple pages within our iRise simulation. This login widget checks a user datasheet to verify that the user is valid or invalid. We also use decision logic within iRise to make the mockup choose which navigational branch is needed to show whether or not the user trying to login is valid or invalid.
